We offer you 2 trips to handicraft villages around Hanoi. It is also a chance to see Vietnam’s stunning countryside. 

Option 1. Craft villages in Ha Tay province

8h30: Hotel pick up and leave Hanoi for Ha Dong town

9h15-9h45 Visit Van Phuc (silk) village and silk-making families

9h55 Begin to ride along the 21c highway to Chuong village (15km). Visit Chuong village (conical hat), market, communal house, bell tower. Visit a family making conical hats.

11h00 Ride along the brick road through poetic village scenery. Light lunch. Continue on van.

13h30 Ride 4 km to Dau pagoda. Visit the pagoda with its two priest bodies from 17th century

14h30-14h50 Ha Thai village (lacquer). Visit a work shop

16h00 Back to Hanoi

Option 2. Craft villages in Bac Ninh province

8h30 Hotel pick up and leave Hanoi for Bat Trang village

9h00-9h45 Bat Trang village (ceramic). Visit ceramic workshops

9h55 Begin to ride to Kieu Ky village (gold leaves). Visit a family making gold leaves and silver leaves.

11h00 Visit Keo temple.

11h30 Visit Le Chi village (silkworm). Visit a family feeding silkworm and mulberry fields.

12h30 Light lunch in But Thap. Visit But Thap pagoda

14h00 Visit a brick field. Ride to Dong Ho village

15h30 Visit Dong Ho village

16h30 Back to Hanoi

Services:

Transportation, American Trek bike,guide, water, light lunch (consist of sandwich, vegetable and fruit). For group under 5 persons. There is a 16-seater minivan for transporting bikes and persons. If there are more than 5 persons. There will be another truck for transporting bikes. Van and truck always stay behind the group. If someone is tired. He/ she can go on by van.
